Happy Monday and first day of Color Wars!! Color Wars is a summer tradition!!  The kids and the counselors are split up into four teams: red, yellow, green and blue. All week every team competes in competitions and activities to win The Golden Dodgeball Trophy!! To kick off the week, each team chose two counselors to compete in the Assembly.  They played multiple games of Pocket Tag with the blue team winning this Assembly!!

Each year we choose a theme for Color Wars!! This years theme was Disney!! Each color is represented by a different Disney movie. Toy Story is represented by the Red Team, Frozen is represented by the Blue Team, The Lion King is represented by the Yellow Team and The Jungle Book is represented by the Green Team!!

On Monday, the kiddos were able to bring in a white T-Shirt and Tie-Dye it the color of their Color Wars Team!! The kids had so much fun Tie-Dyeing and hanging out with their new friends on their teams!!

On Tuesday, our older kids went swimming while the younger ones were on the field trip!! They had so much fun hanging out with their Color Wars Teams, jumping in the pool and looking for pool toys under water!!

Also on Tuesday, the little ones went to The Cincinnati Children's Museum!!  They had a blast playing with the Kroger store, the water play area and the treehouse play set!!

On Wednesday morning the kids played Gold Rush!!  They had to collect the foam pieces and put them in their hula hoops.  The team with the most foam pieces won!!  Yellow and Green won that morning!!

Also on Wednesday 3rd-7th and the LITs went on the field trip to the Reds Game!!  The had so much fun watching the game with their friends and counselors!!  The Reds ended up winning the game that day against the Pittsburgh Pirates!!
